About this Seminar: Several megatrends will be presented – with focus on food demand trends and the drivers behind the trends.

Food demand is changing in these years, but still consistent megatrends are paving the road ahead. Megatrends – long-term trends that are observable in the present and are likely to continue to have a significant influence for a few decades – are important milestones in strategic planning: In the midst of a turbulent world a number of more stable trends still exist, which can be important indicators in both the short and long term. By knowing these megatrends and the underlying driving forces, we can reduce both risk and vulnerability in the future.

Several megatrends will be presented – with focus on food demand trends and the drivers behind the trends. Innovation and markets are important factors, and together with megatrends they create and form the future of food.
